Samsung Galaxy Q Specs Leaked

Samsung’s recent Galaxy is a massive hit in the market, scaling new heights of success weeks after weeks. The success comes in spite of Apple’s iPhone 4 and Motorola’s Droid X highly publicized launches. Galaxy S comes with amazing looks and equally superb display. Many believe it’s the best Android handset so far.

After launch of Galxy S, one question was pretty obvious: What next? What device/advancement Samsung could come up with again? Well the all sorts of speculations and anticipation come to an end with Galaxy Q- Samsung’s latest handset, which is scheduled to be released anytime of this year. Galaxy Q is certainly a better and advance version of Galaxy S. Read on to determine how?

The Galaxy Q is thought to be a smaller version of the Galaxy S, which ships with a QWERTY keyboard. The handset gets power from the same 1GHz Hummingbird CPU and embedded with 16GB of memory. A majority of features resemble Galaxy S. But there are some exceptions as well.

The camera, which is also considered to a major setback in case of Galaxy S, is of high quality thanks to the lack of flash. The Galaxy Q is loaded with an 8 megapixel camera and LED flash. And that’s not all; the handset has an updated version of the VGA front facing camera and it said to be of 1.3 megapixel one. The Galaxy Q will run on Android 2.2.

There are many feature additions that you may not like. Say the huge 4-inch screen of the Galaxy S has been chopped by one inch, giving it a smaller 3-inch screen. The resolution is also not very high with a 720*480 S-AMOLED screen. Interestingly, Galaxy S has 800*480 pixel display. This means Galaxy Q is not an upgrade but just part of the Galaxy family.
