Crystal Bowersox Becomes Best 'American Idol 2010' Performer Of All Time

Crystal Bowersox, who is the frontrunner for the American Idol 2010 this year, is receiving rave reviews from everyone for her performance of the Impressions’ classic “People Get Ready” on Tuesday night’s episode of the super-hit reality show.

The judges of the show were floored by Bowersox’s performance, which got overwhelming support from fans both in the “Idol” studio and across the Internet.

Some said that Bowersox’s teary version was the best performance in the American Idol so far. A leading American entertainment channel conducted a survey to rank Bowersox’s “People Get Ready” performance  by putting it against 11 other iconic “Idol” performances.

The list included classic star-making “Idol” moments like Kelly Clarkson’s “Stuff Like That There,” David Cook’s “Billie Jean” and Carrie Underwood’s “Alone,” but Bowersox picked 31% of the vote to emerge on top.

Cook’s “Billie Jean” netted 16% vote to bag the second place, while former winner Underwood finished at third place with just 10% mandate. She was followed by Clay Aiken (“Build Me Up Buttercup”), Fantasia Barrino (“Summertime”) and Jason Castro’s “Hallelujah” .(which certainly made him into an instant star).

Some notable exclusions from the polling were David Archuleta’s “Imagine,” Adam Lambert’s “Mad World,” Kris Allen’s “Ain’t No Sunshine” and Jennifer Hudson’s performances.
