Carrie Underwood Announces Extended Tour Dates

Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year winner Carrie Underwood has added more tour in her already choc-a-bloc calendar, extending her Play On tour almost to Christmas.

Billy Currington will act as a supporting act to Underwood on this part of the tour, instead of Craig Morgan.

The singer will take 36 cents from each ticket sold for her sows and donate the money to Save the Children’s United States Programs.

Two days ago, the former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has entered record books after becoming the first female artist to win entertainer of the year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards twice.

The 27-year-old singer had won the award last year also.  Underwood also won a special triple crown prize, which includes award for the female vocalist, entertainer of the year and newcomer prizes. Underwood was nominated with Swift, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley, in the entertainer of the year category.
