Whitney Houston Denies Drug Relapse As The Reason For Canceling Shows
Iconic singer Whitney Houston has denied rumors that she had to cancel her first four shows of the tour because of drug relapse.
Houston, 46, who was scheduled to perform in Paris, Manchester and Glasgow gigs this week, had to cancel the shows at the last minute as she was hospitalized in Paris for an upper respiratory infection.
Soon after the cancellation news, media reports started surfacing that she had to cancel the shows because she is back to using drugs. One report even claimed that a witness saw her snorting a white substance in public.
Houston however vehemently denied the reports calling them ridiculous.
Talking to People magazine, she said, "I’m feeling great. I’m just ready to move on and continue my world tour.”
“My health is terrific. But this is a time when I get a lot of allergies.”
Houston will resume her tour from April 13 in England.
