British telecom giant Vodafone today announced that the people living in the UK would be able to buy the much-anticipated Google Nexus One smartphone from 30 April.

Interested customers could hit the Vodafone stores from April 30 to buy the Nexus One. It will also be available via telesales, and Vodafone said that customers would also get direct support.
The Android-powered phone will have 1GB monthly data allowance. The phone is manufactured by the HTC and it remains to be seen that how much benefit HTC will get after tying up with Vodafone. Nexus One will have a 3.7″ display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 3G QSD8250 chipset processor. The 130g mobile will have a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus facility. It has an expandable memory of upto 4GB with 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. Vodafone will soon launch the Google Nexus One in France (SFR), Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain.
