Both the golfers expressed their comfort with the decision. Choi expressed that together they will play well and he was happy with the decision. He said that he already had this feeling that pairing with Woods would be an exciting experience.

Woods who will be making his come back to the professional golf after a self-imposed, five-month exile to put back together his personal life, the interest on this start is unmatched.

The trio will tee off Thursday at 13:42 p.m. at Augusta National in the second-to-last group of the day. ESPN sports will be broadcasting Woods first opening shot live on Thursday. The remaining full live coverage starts at 4 p.m.

Kuchar was also not surprised with decision as he said that it was something which was already anticipated. He said most them in the field were sure that it will him who would be paired with Woods.

Kuchar already has an experience of the game with Woods as he has played as a proletarian with Tiger Woods in the year 1998. Kuchar, whose 21st-place finish that year is his best in three career Masters, said in 1998 Woods was the defending Masters champion and everyone was so excited to see him play.

He further added that everyone will still be excited to see him play and he believes that the crowd will not be indifferent towards Woods. Tiger can create a buzz among the people with his issues off the field or by just winning golf tournaments due to his captivating figure.

During his Monday news conference Tiger Woods expressed his views on his potential playing associates and said that out of all the tournaments, this is one where it’s not as bad. Unlike other PGA tournaments, the media personnel or other officials will not be allowed inside the ropes.

He said that it's going to be a lot more at ease during this week as compared to most of the weeks. He further said that if there could be one week where one could have a pairing with him, considering the circumstances, then it would probably be this week.
