"Survivor" Producer Bruce Beresford-Redman Detained, Wife Found Dead
Mexico City: Bruce Beresford-Redman, producer of reality series "Survivor" and creator of MTV show "Pimp My Ride" has been detained as a suspect in the death of his wife, Monica Beresford-Redman in Cancun.
Monica's body was found in a sewer at the Hotel Moon Palace.
Monica, 42 was staying with her husband and two children at the Hotel Moon Palace. Bruce told police on Tuesday that his wife had left the hotel on Monday and did not return.
Associated Press reports a witness who saw the couple arguing on Sunday at the hotel.
A Mexican newspaper reports that Bruce is under investigation as he seems to be responsible according to a state prosecutor for the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
