Sunday Storm System causes Flooding, Hail in Rockingham County: In latest weather news, National Weather Service reports flooding and hail in Rockingham County.

Earlier Sunday evening stormy weather  was reported in Charlotte are and portions of the Triad.

Tornado warnings were issued for Rockingham County but there was not mcu substantial storm received there.

Guilford County reported tress felling and buildings damages because of tornadoes. Also affected by tornadoes were Mecklenburg, Forsyth, Davidson and Gaston counties.

Strong winds lashed Rockingham County on Sunday.

Also under investigation for possible tornado damage is Halifix County says NWS in weather update.
