Singer Katy Perry topped Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list yesterday. The "I Kissed a Girl" singer removed "House" star Olivia Wilde from the top post in a list that saw Hollywood heartthrob Angelina Jolie fall to No. 38.
The 25-year-old singer, who gained popularity in 2008, was deemed by Joe Levy, editor-in-chief of the men's magazine, to be a "triple -- no quadruple -- kind of hot." "It's that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too," Levy said.
The U.S. singer is engaged to British comedian Russell Brand. Katy left behind hot beauties like model Brooklyn Decker, "Avatar" actress Zoe Saldana and "Gossip Girl" actress Blake Lively to grab the top spot. Wilde, who is well-known for her role as the bisexual doctor Thirteen on TV medical drama "House", finished at 20th place this year.
Troubled "Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan failed to finish in the Top 100 this year. Transformer star Megan Fox, who was at No. 2 last year, slipped to fifth place followed by Rihanna and George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis .
