It seems that Sarah Palin has entered into the election mode once again as the star Republican leader released a video on her Facebook page that smacks of a early presidential campaign. In the ad Palin warns the federal government to watch out for the angry "mama grizzlies," who are ready to "get our country back on the right track."
The message of the ad, called "Mama Grizzlies," is set against a background of inspirational music and over pictures of Palin working crowds at rallies. The message is aimed to seek the support of those women who are unhappy with the current Democratic administration.
"It seems like it's kind of a mom awakening in the last year and a half where women are rising up saying, 'No, we've had enough already,' because moms kinda just know when something is wrong," Palin said in the video. "I'm not the 'Angry Mob' I'm an angry, tax-bled hockey mom flashes by,” she added.
"There in Alaska I always think about the mama grizzly bears that rise up on their hind legs when somebody's coming to attack their cubs -- to do something adverse toward their cubs. You thought pit bulls were tough, well, you don't want to mess with the mama grizzlies," the ad said.
Palin gets emotional in the video and discusses the need to "turn things around" for "kids and grandkids." An elderly woman is shown in one video segment, sitting in a wheelchair attending a Tea Party rally with a sign reading, "Don't Tread on Me" attached to her chair.
Palin's political action committee has paid for the ad. The ad openly declares war on the current political situation. “Look out Washington, cause there’s a whole stampede of pink elephants crossing the line and the E.T.A. for them stampeding through is November 2, 2010," Palin says.
