Preakness Stakes 2010: The 135th Preakness horse race will begin today at Pimlico in Baltimore, Maryland. All eyes will be on Kentucky Derby winner, Super Saver.
It remains to be seen whether Super Saver will claim the second jewel in the Triple Crown of races.
The Triple Crown prize is awarded to the horse that wins the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont all in the same season.
Experts maintained that Super Saver and his popular jockey Calvin Borel will try to claim the prestigious crown. On his part, Borel expressed hope that Super Saver might just be able to win the Triple Crown. The feat had been achieved last in 1978 by Affirmed.
