Opera Mini Becomes Apple iTunes No.1 Download
Opera Mini has become iTunes most popular download, thanks to Apple handsets customers.
The Apple consumers are liking the browsing speed of Opera Mini, the Norwegian company's mobile internet browser. Opera Mini, which has now become the most popular iPhone application in Apple's iTunes App Store was not supported by Apple till last month.
But, the application has now become a huge success and it is now the number one application in the 22 featured App Stores across the globe. Talking to reporters, an Opera official said that the application was downloaded more than a million times by Apple iPhone customers, the day when it became available in market.
Lars Boilesen, the chief executive office of Mini Opera has expressed happiness over the news, stressing that the browser is six times faster than its rivals. "iPhone users have a choice and as the numbers show, they are eager to explore new and faster ways to surf the web on the iPhone - especially during heavy web traffic," added Boilesen.
