New Updated Apple Macbook?
The Vietnamese website that purportedly did a teardown of an iPhone 4G prototype, is hogging the limelight once again.
It seems that the website has been able to lay its hands on a new updated Macbook, according to a video posted on You Tube.
Though there have been no signs of an Apple Macbook Air Refresh, the video definitely suggests that work is in progress for upgrading the less flashy Macbook.
Specifications for the MacBook that appear in the video include an Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor (updated from the current 2.26GHz chip) and Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics (updated from the aging Nvidia 9400M graphics silicon).
It is of importance to note that the chip upgrades are the same as for the aluminum 13-inch MacBook Pro got when it was updated last month. The MacBook Pro is also offered with a slightly faster 2.66GHz Intel processor.
As of now there are no indications to confirm the availability of the updated Macbook.
Apple, it seems has been hit by a spate of such incidents. First the images of its lost iPhone were printed by Gizmodo, then a video showing the teardown of a prototype of iphone 4G appeared on this very same Vietnamese site and now the Macbook. Apple has not commented on this incident till now but sure as heaven and hell sparks are about to fly.
The Vietnamese site is Tinhte.com, for those who want to check out the supposedly updated Macbook.
