Muse To Release Eclipse Soundtrack
Its official now. Muse will release soundtrack of the third part of the superhit “Twilight” franchisee, Eclipse.
The band has contributed songs to the previous two parts, "Twilight" and "New Moon."
For “Eclipse” Muse will prepare a new track "Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)" and it is expected that the new track will hit the airwaves later this month.
"The first single on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has just been confirmed, and I get to bring you the exclusive details," StephenieMeyer.com webmaster Seth wrote on Thursday. The soundtrack will be released on May 17 and the official soundtrack will be available on June 8.
The band confirmed the news and tweeted, "A brand new Muse song will be released worldwide on Monday May 17th! The track, 'Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)' was written and recorded by the band earlier this year and has been chosen to be the lead single from the soundtrack of the forthcoming Twilight film 'Eclipse'. More news coming soon."
Last year, Muse drummer Dominic Howard told MTV News that it was likely that the band would get an opportunity to work on the soundtrack for the third part as well. "Director David Slade is kind of a friend of ours cause he directed about three or four of our videos for the second album, and he's a really great video director," Howard had said.
