It's a rare opportunity that players have got the chance to sneak a peek at the next "Halo" game five months earlier than its official release, but Microsoft and Bungie have given fans just that by releasing the "Halo: Reach" beta today.
The multiplayer-only beta is for only those customers who purchased "Halo 3: ODST," and the players could accessed the latest game choosing the "Play the Beta" option in that game's main menu.
The "Halo: Reach" beta shows some of the remarkable changes which have been made by Bungie. Some notable changes are load-outs and armor abilities. Now a player will get the opportunity to choose their own weapon, which means that the player would now be able to use a flight with a jet pack or added stealth with invisibility.
Another remarkable change is the addition of a complete character customization system, which will allow the player to earn credits at the end of the match and the players can spend the earned credits to unlock specific pieces of armor.
