Michael Jackson Death Case: Dr. Conrad Murray Appears in Court
Michael Jackson's Doctor has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Yesterday Dr. Conrad Murray appeared at the brief procedural hearing in Los Angeles where the case was assigned to Judge Michael Pastor.
Michael Jackson's relatives also attended the hearing which included his parents Katherine and Joe Jackson. Brothers Randy and Jermaine and sister Janel were also present.
The case was adjourned till mid-June, when he might be ruling whether to revoke Doctor's medical licence pending the full trial.
The situation now is that California's attorney general has asked for Dr. Murray's suspension while he is on trial which is being opposed by the cardiologist's lawyers.
As a condition of his bail of $75,000, Dr Murray has earlier been ordered not to administer any anaesthetics.
The doctor is alleged to have administered a lethal dose of Propofol and other drugs to Michael Jackson, which caused his death on 25 June.
