Mexico warns of harassment of its people in Arizona

Mexican citizens living or traveling to Arizona have been warned by Mexico that they are likely to be harassed in Arizona.

This warning has come in the light of the toughest immigration laws that have recently been implemented in Arizona.

As per the law, immigrants will be forced to carry registration documents at all times once the law is effected. A statement issued by the foreign ministry of Mexico has informed its people that they should be cognizant of the new law and should contact their counselor representatives if they are unlawfully detained.

The statement also said that the new law prohibits people being hired from a vehicle on a public street. A total of 460,000 illegal immigrants are estimated to be living in Arizona.

Meanwhile president Obama has also criticized the law and has ordered an assessment of its implementation.

In another move, the president of Mexico has said that the law makes immigration a complicated process and the employee.
