Mayweather vs Pacquiao Fight Likely On November 13
The clash of boxing giants Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is tentatively scheduled for Novemebr 13, if reports from the two camps are to be believed.
The showdown is expected to take place at either Las Vegas' MGM Grand or the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington.
Though Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank refused to comment on his negotiations with Mayweather and his promoter Golden Boy, an official announcement is expected by mid-June.
However, a few hurdles have to be crossed before the fight could happen. Mayweather is insisting that both fighters are drug tested to US Olympic standards but Pacquaio is adamant he will not give way.
But, boxing trainer Freddie Roach said all his fighters are clean. He, however, claims Pacquiao has a problem with injections and that he can "lose him from the gym for two or three days" when he is tested.
However, reports emanating from Pacquiao's camp say that they will drop their lawsuit against Mayweather for insinuating that the Filippino uses drugs in return for them dropping the tests.
According to the records, the clash between the two is billed as the biggest non-heavyweight fight in history and one of the richest. So get set for some Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao boxing action.
