Mayweather Pacquiao Fight, What Are The Prospects After Mayweather vs Mosley Fight
Floyd Mayweather Jr. wanted to become a showman and he played his role to perfection the moment he entered the MGM Grand arena to fight Shane Mosley.
Mayweather was accompanied by acrobats, who were throwing fake $100 bills till Mayweather was declared winner after the 12th round.
Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao, who is busy campaigning for Congress these days, took some time off to watch the fight on television, and was impressed by Mayweather’s good show.
The American pugilist dominated the match except in the second round, when Mosley landed two right punches on him, shattering him for a moment. "Ain't nothing cool about what happened in the second round," Mayweather agreed.
Mayweather survived that round to bounce back strongly and ultimately walked away with the winner’s tag and at least $22.5 million as paycheck.
Mayweather fans must now be waiting for a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight in 2010 if possible. "If the fight happens, it happens. I'm not out chasing fighters," said Mayweather.
He, however, added that he would fight Pacquiao only if the Filipino would agree to take a blood and urine test, "If Manny Pacquiao can take a blood and urine test then we have a fight. If not, no fight," stressed Mayweather.
