Managed Web Hosting Services for Hilton Worldwide by IBM
International IT giant IBM will work with Hilton Worldwide to improve and enhance the international hotel chain’s infrastructure to provide better enabled next generation technology solutions.
By virtue of this agreement IBM will host and manage Hilton worldwide’s technology platforms including data centre management, monitoring, global email services, web hosting and will also be maintaining the central guest reservation system.
Hilton’s worldwide technology infrastructure will be hosted by IBM at its new0020Smarter Data center in Research Triangle Park This infrastructure has been designed to deliver cloud computing workloads using 50% less energy.
IBM General manager, Philip Guido said, “Together, we will apply our specialized skills and global scale to help take Hilton Worldwide’s technology solutions and infrastructure to the next level. We are confident that this collaboration will provide enhanced service, delivery, efficiency and innovation to Hilton Worldwide.”
