Wolves at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire were witness to their brothers' antics on screen, when they were got to see the “New Moon” movie on a 16-sqm screen this weekend.
Today, the Twilight sequel has been released and received on DVD with aplomb.
Martin Gough, Film company E1 Entertainment spokesman, which had proposed the stunt, said in a statement: “Whilst we're used to deafening screams for Robert Pattinson, it's a nice change to hear howls of approval for the rest of the cast, including the screen wolves themselves."
UK’s Telegraph reports that Ian Turner, Longleat Safari Park’s deputy head warden, said: “We've certainly never had a request like this before, so we were very intrigued to find out how the wolves would react to seeing their counterparts on screen. While they weren't so interested in the romance - the scenes of the wolves certainly got their attention and prompted a series of howls as the film went on.”
The Twilight sequel “New Moon,” which cost just £30 million, made £44 million on the opening day at the box office in the United States.
The film revolves around its 17-year-old heroine Bella Swan, played by Kirsten Stewart, who has fallen in love with a 109-year-old "vegetarian" vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson. However, the twist in the story is another rival love interest in the form of a wolf, played by Taylor Lautner.
Fans would definitely love to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart romance once again in the New Moon. So what if it happens to be on small screen!
