LeBron James Shines, Cleveland Cavaliers Defeat Chicago Bulls
Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Chicago Bulls 96-83 at Quicken Loans Arena Tuesday.
LeBron James was the star in Cavaliers as he once again proved that he is still dangerous. The Cavs played well mixing their offense and fierce defense, including 12 blocked shots and seven steals.
James was the top scorer with 24 points, six rebounds and five assists. Mo Williams contributed 19 points and 10 assists. Point guard Derrick Rose was the top scorer for the Bulls with 28 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists.
Talking to AP reporters, after the match, Cavaliers center Shaquille O'Neal said, "We wanted to come out and play aggressive, play at a high level." O'Neal scored 12 points, five rebounds, four assists. "We did a great job of executing offensively, stopping them from penetrating and getting transition points," added forward Antawn Jamison, who contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds.
The Cavs dominated the match from the beginning as O'Neal kept on testing Bulls' defence. On his part, James added that the depth in the frontcourt helped his side win the match. "That's something that we have been looking forward to all season. And seeing how the size we play differs between last year in the postseason and this year," noted James.
