Larry King Divorce Will Cost Him In Absence Of Pre-nup
Larry king might have to pay a huge price for getting divorce from his wife Shawn Southwick.
According to the sources, this CNN talk show host will have to part with a princely sum of money in the absence of any prenuptial agreement with soon-to-be-ex-wife. Larry married Shawn 13 years ago.
It is worth mentioning here that King’s net worth is nearly $144 million. He has a $56 million contract with CNN to host an hour long interview program ‘Larry King Live’. Southwick is entitled for half of Larry’s earnings as per the California divorce law.
This is King’s eighth divorce. He has been married seven times. He tied wedlock with his third wife Bunny Alene Akins twice.
Larry and Shawn filed for divorce for ‘irreconcilable differences’. It is worth mentioning here the bone of contention between the couple were those expensive gifts which king showered on Shawn’s sister Shannon Engemann. According to Shawn, King said he would stop giving gifts to her but he never did. This annoyed Shawn to the extent that she went on to filing divorce.
On the other hand, the couple was spotted at their son's little league game in Beverly hills. King was heard saying ‘that was the best 30 minutes of my life.’
