Lacey Brown Goes First From American Idol 2010 Top 12

Wednesday night saw 24-year-old Lacey Brown being voted out of the final round of American Idol Top 12. Wednesday was also witness to Season 7’s American Idol David Cook’s number ‘Jumpin Jack Flash.’ The stakes are not in favor of Paige and Tim either. Let’s see who gets eliminated next!

On Wednesday, America's most-watched television show was witness to the first exit from the final round, which came in the form of Lacey Brown’s departure. Lacey failed to please viewers with her performance of the Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday.”

Besides Lacey, Tim Urban and Paige Miles were also named in “danger.” Though Lacey was the one to get the boot, Paige and Tim must have had restless moments during the announcement of the exit of the first finalist. They would also be shown the door if they continue with their lackluster performance and fail to please the judges and, particularly, the American viewers.

Tim Urban is still holding forte despite his acoustic reggae version of "Under My Thumb" being judged the most “bizarre” performance. Paige Miles, who is suffering from laryngitis, also failed to show a good performance.

Orianthi’s “According to You’ performance impressed the fans as well as the judges. Siobhan Magnus, Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Lee Dewyze, Didi Benami, and Katie Stevens were deemed safe.

Season 7 American idol joined in to enthrall the viewers. Yet David Brown’s performance on Wednesday dismayed many of his fans, many of who felt that had David Brown been in the top five, his performance would have certainly ensured his exit that day!

At the moment, it seems either Crystal Bowersox or Michael Lynche will steal the show, though Siobhan Magnus is fast moving up. The judges have a “save” that they can use on one of the “vulnerable” but it wasn’t necessary this week and probably won’t come into play for a couple more.

Lacey Brown, daughter of a pastor, had sung "Ruby Tuesday" on Tuesday night. She was given the chance to sing for her life, but she failed to impress anyone on Wednesday with her version of "The Story."

Judges have the option to “save” one contestant per season, but this demands unanimity in choice on their part. Brown, on her exit, said, "That's alright. I'm having a blast. I'm not going to stop singing for my fans because I love to do this. I am excited for the future."

There is still a long way to go for the remaining contestants of "American Idol."
