Here is another actress' split after Jennifer Love Hewitt's recent breakup. Yes, we are talking about Oscar winning Actress Kate Winslet and her director husband Sam Mendes who have decided that its time that they part ways.
A statement released from the estranged couple read: "Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year. "The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."
It was 7 years back that the two decided to marry each other. That was the year 2003 when the 44 year old Mendes ties knot with the 34 year old Winslet. The actress was earlier married to Jim Threapleton and they had a six year old son and also a nine year old daughter.
Kate Winslet, one of Britain’s leading Hollywood actresses, has called it quits from her husband, after nearly seven years of marriage. Speculation will be on but the reasons for the split are still not known.
