Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, Second American Woman Charged In JihadJane Terror Case

On Friday, another American woman was charged by federal prosecutors in the “JihadJane” Case. After Colleen LaRose (Jihad Jane), Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, is the second American woman accused of plotting online to go for a terrorist training camp.

Terrorism charges have been filed against her after she was arrested in Philadelphia on Friday when she arrived from Ireland.

Paulin-Ramirez who belongs originally to Colorado, was detained last month by authorities in Ireland along with six others during the investigation into the alleged plot to kill Swedish cartoonist.

Then the link was found between the suspects and Colleen LaRosa from Pennsylvania arrested last fall. Under the new indictment LaRosa and Paulin-Ramirez have been charged with traveling to Europe separately to take part in violent jihad. LaRosa who referred to herself as “JihadJane” on internet, has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
