About 1.2 million high chairs produced by Graco Children's Products, Inc., of Atlanta are being recalled, as government sources claim they pose a fall hazard to children. Even the Consumer Product Safety Commission has endorsed this.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, "Screws holding the front legs of the high chair can loosen and fall out." The regulatory body says that the high chair can "tip over unexpectedly" as a result of cracking plastic brackets. Graco has received 464 reports of such cases. Already 24 injuries have been reported in this regard. Injury has been in the form of a hairline fracture to the arm, bumps and bruises to the head. It has even inflicted cuts, bumps, bruises, and scratches to the body.
