Here is another exciting addition to Facebook games. Its from mobile, Facebook and casual gaming publisher Digital Chocolate who have unveiled the NanoStar platform on facebook along with the first two games in the Nanoverse namely NanoStar Siege and NanoStar Castles.
The unique point of games in Nanoverse is that once the NanoStar characters you collect, they can be used across all the games under the NanoStar banner.
There are over 150 characters you can collect and when used in diffferent games these characters will have different effects and experiences.
Speaking about these characters, Trip Hawkins, CEO and founder of Digital Chocolate and former founder of EA said, "I want the NanoStar characters to feel like Pokémon for grownups."
"I like films like Shrek that can appeal to a wide-age range audience. People who grew up with Pokémon that are now on Facebook can also enjoy NanoStar Castles.", he added.
Now lets talk about the price. A Gold 1-Pack character pack is priced at 10 DC-Cash, which is about $1.60 (about £1). There is also chance to earn in-game money by completing special offers, free trials and surveys.
The NanoStar platform has been much anticipated and finally its here. Both the games NanoStar Siege and NanoStar Castles are strategy games which are quite casual and free to play but there is the added attraction for players to buy the heroes which can be used all through the Nanoverse just like trading card booster packs.
