First Asus Eee Pad Pictures Are Out
Yes, first Asus Eee Pad pictures are out. Asustek Computers on Monday announced two Asus Eee Pad Tablets running Windows software and the Eee Tablet, an E-reader, with a note taking function.
The Asus Eee Pad EP121 can be used for internet access, watching videos and other multimedia uses, computing and as an E-reader. The device has a 12-inch touch screen and runs Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and has an Intel Core 2 Duo inside, the company said in the news release.
Data can be fed in the device by using the on screen keyboard or by typing on the keyboard gets into. The device has 10 hours of battery life, says Asustek.
Asustek displayed another ipad style device which has a 10-inch touch screen and runs on Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Compact 7 software. The sleek designed device is 12.2 millimetres thick and weighs only 675 grams, making its mobility easier.
Eee tablet, the company’s e-reader, has been designed to not only read e-books but also for digital note-taking.
A 2-megapixel camera has been provided for the students to take pictures of lecture slides as well, which they can later sync to any laptop or desktop using a USB or Micro SD cards. This is an attempt by Asustek to make the device more of an educational tool.
Stylus can be used for digital note taking on the device’s touch screen. Asustek says the screen has been designed in such a manner that the user feels they are writing on a paper.
