First 4G Smart Phone By Sprint, HTC EVO 4G Features
HTC has recently launched the first smart phone named EVO which is 4G enabled.
This phone, offered by Sprint is supposed to be 10 times faster than the normal 3G phones which makes it as capable as a DSL router.
The most interesting feature of this phone is that in places where there is no 4G service it will automatically run on 3G band. With an internet download speed ranging between 3 to 6 Mbits/s it is way faster than a 3G band.
Like all other smartphones this phone from HTC uses Qualcomm’s 1GH snapdragon processor and runs on the new google android OS. Other features include a 1500mAh battery, GPS, Bluetooth with wi-fi enabled services.
Some of the most user friendly features include email messaging, IM messaging, business messaging, live videos and Sprint applications like Sprint tv, google mobile, you tube etc.
The other great aspect of the phone is its large display which makes browsing and viewing of any application a real pleasure.
“Leap Essentials.” Is another feature that helps in multitasking through this smartphone. It works by pinching the home screen and then showing up to seven different thumbnails of pages you have open. Friend Stream is another included new feature. It is a widget in which you can multitask your social networking.
