Dodgers Broadcaster Vin Scully Hospitalized, Recovering
Broadcasting legend Vin Scully was hospitalized last night after he suffered a fall from his bed.
Scully has been associated with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Scully was hospitalized to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center for precautionary reasons. He suffered injuries as fell from his bed and then landed on his head, Dodgers Vice-President Josh Rawitch told the Los Angeles Times.
Scully, who is 82 years old, is expected to join the Dodgers this weekend in Glendale, Ariz., at Camelback Ranch. He is also due to give his expert comments on coming Sunday’s match between the Dodgers and Cleveland Indians.
As a broadcaster of the Dodgers, Scully is in his 61st season. This season Scully is going to broadcast every home game of the Dodgers. Other than the home games Scully will be broadcasting the road games against National League West and American League West.
Family spokesperson affirmed that he is going to be ok.
