Engadget, a leading website dealing with technology-relared stuffs, has claimed that they are in possession of leaked documents containing informations about Dell's yet-to-be-unvealed device, the 5-inch multitouch Dell Streak tablet.
The mobile also known as the Dell Mini 5 is a part of Dell's plans to make its impact in the mobile space with its Android-based devices. Engadget added that they have also got leaked documents containing detailed informations related to Dell's another products, the 7-inch multitouch tablet device, also known as the Looking Glass.
Engadget predicted that the US-based company might release the device as early as this summer or as late as September. Looking Glass is expected to come in market in November, according to Engadget, which said that if the leaked documents proved to be correct then Looking Glass will be the follow-up to the Streak.
The new device will have Android 2.1 as the operating system. It will have a 7-inch WVGA screen with a resoution of 800 x 480, 4GB RAM; 3G, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity; 1.3 megapixel camera and optional TV tuner. The memoery card slot of the Looking Glass will support SD, SDHC and MMC formats. Engadget's added that the leaked documents also revealed that Looking Glass will be powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 mobile system-on-a-chip processor.
According to Engadget, Dell, which is an established name in the computers and laptops arena, has added some special features in the Dell Streak/Mini 5. The leaked documents added that the device will have a 5-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, a 5 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot with a maximum memory of 32GB.
