Claudia Schiffer is now the proud mom of a baby girl, her third child. The baby was born on Friday.

The baby girl is the third in the family after Caspar and Clementine with husband Matthew Vaughan. She had married in 2002.

The super model is expected to name her daughter some time next week. This was revealed by German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.

The baby was born in London’s Portland Hospital.

"I am much 
more self-confident today," Schiffer said in an interview with Welt am Sonntag shortly before giving birth, "because of my children and my husband. I
 know what I am doing, what I want [and] I am in control of myself."
