Brady Quinn vs Kyle Orton: Who will be the new Quarterback?

15 March, 2010
A+  A-

After being traded from the Browns, Brady Quinn will go into a dressing room; which will have competitors not team-mates.

Yes, the Broncos quarterback room is already an embarrassment of riches and Brady will now join the likes of Kyle Orton who was on the team’s starting roster last season and others like Chris Simms and Tom Brandstater in the squad. So where will Quinn fit in and will there be a place for him in the starting line-up.

Broncos’ insiders state that Kyle Orton will once again start and though he is subjected to a free transfer this season but any team that signs him up will have to surrender a first rounder to the Broncos. Let’s have a look at some of the stats on Orton. Well, he started all 16 games for the Broncos last season, with 21 TD passes, 12 INTs and 3,802 passing yards.

In comparison Quinn had 12 games in the past two seasons, with 10 TD passes, nine INTs and 1,857 passing yards. Take your pick.
