Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has once again issued an audio tape containing threats against American citizens. The audio recording broadcast on Al Jazeera Thursday warns against executing the alleged September 11 attacks mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and threatens to kill American soldiers if it was done.
Bin Laden warned that the US president Barack Obama is "following the footsteps of his predecessor", obviously referring to former president George Bush.
In the latest Osama bin Laden tape, he goes on to say, "The politicians in the White House were practicing injustice against us and still they are. Especially by supporting Israel in its continuous occupation of Palestine.
"They used to think that America across the oceans is protected from the rage of the oppressed until our reaction was loudly heard at your home on the 9/11 with God’s help," .
Referring to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's execution, he says, "The day America will take such decision it would have taken a decision to execute whoever we capture" .
Before this Osama bin Laden had sent an audio recording on January 24 wherein he claimed responsibility for Christmas Day attempted airliner attack and pledged more attacks on US unless US president took some initiative in resolving the Palestinian situation.
