Apple iPad 3G release Date, iPad 3G Reaches US Customers On April 30, 2010
Its good news for gizmo lovers in the US, the 3G-enabled Apple iPad is all set to debut in the US on April 30, 2010.
The iPad lovers across the ocean may have to wait for one more month to for Apple iPad 3G release date to materialize.
Apple announced today that those who have pre-ordered for the device would receive it on April 30. Apple is also planning to launch the device in stores across the US same day.
The sale will take place at Apple Stores, most Best Buy locations, some Apple Authorized Resellers, and some bookstores in the campuses. The users of the new device will be able to set up their iPad in the store for free, just like the Wi-Fi models.
The Apple iPad 3G model will be of 1.6 pounds, a little heavier than the Wi-Fi-only model. It will have a small black plastic antenna window on its top. However, for those minor differences you’ll pay an additional $130. The 3G iPads will come in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. These models will be of $629, $729, and $829 respectively.
