Apple iPad 3G Review: Definitely The Better Version of iPad
Apple began the sale of the new iPad 3G April 30. Now having had first hand experience with the device the reviews are being sent in by users and analysts.
The Apple iPad 3G price is $499 and the device is definitely better than the previous iPad model. The new device can be used for surfing the Web, reading e-books, watching movies and more.
The new iPad 3G has a 64GB harddisk and it will come equipped with a $30-a-month data plan from AT&T.
The new Apple iPad 3G is $130 costlier than the previous one but it speakers and screen are similar to the older version. According to Apple, the 3G model is about a tenth of a pound heavier than the older device, which is already selling like hotcake.
The only difference in the design is that the latest machine comes with a black plastic bar along the backside, while its older cousin has an all-aluminum enclosure. Experts maintained that the plastic body will support the cellular antennae.
According to Apple, the 3G version has a battery life of 9 hours, while the Wi-Fi version has 10 hours of battery back-up.
